Burn tokens
Burn ERC-20 tokens you hold on Robinhood Chain. Non-custodial — you sign every transaction.
This tool permanently destroys ERC-20 tokens you hold on Robinhood Chain, reducing the circulating supply. You paste the contract address, enter the amount, and sign. The burned tokens are gone forever and can never be recovered or minted back.
Burning is irreversible, and it happens entirely from your own wallet. Dexmint only prepares the transaction; your signature is what destroys the tokens.
How to burn ERC-20 tokens on Robinhood Chain
Connect the wallet holding the tokens
Connect the wallet that actually holds the tokens you want to destroy. The tool reads your balance on-chain so you can see what you have before you type anything.
Enter the token address
Paste the contract address of the ERC-20 token. The tool loads its decimals and your current balance to help you enter the amount correctly.
Set the amount to burn
Type the amount in raw units, the token's smallest denomination. Double-check it, because once the transaction confirms there is no undo.
Review the fee and sign
The fee ledger shows Dexmint's flat fee in ETH before you approve anything. Sign the fee transaction, then sign the burn transaction.
Verify the supply change
After both transactions confirm, totalSupply drops on the explorer. The burn is recorded in the token's history for anyone to see.
What burning does to your token
Burning sends tokens to an unrecoverable address, which permanently lowers the total supply. Every burn is a public on-chain event, and because the supply number is lower, each remaining token represents a slightly larger share of the project.
Projects burn for several reasons: removing unsold allocation, reducing supply after a migration, or signalling long-term commitment. Whatever the reason, the effect is the same, fewer tokens exist.
Burn deliberately, there is no undo
Destroyed tokens cannot be restored. Before you sign, confirm the amount, the token, and that you really want the supply to shrink. Communities generally read burns as a positive signal, but only when the burn is intentional and announced.
Frequently asked questions
How much does burning cost?
One flat Dexmint fee plus the network gas for the two transactions, both shown in the ledger in ETH before your wallet opens.
Can a burn be undone?
No. Tokens sent to the burn address can never be recovered, and no one, not even the owner, can mint them back if the token is no longer mintable. Treat it as final.
Who can burn tokens?
You can burn tokens from your own balance. Dexmint never touches your holdings, and no one else can burn your tokens without your approval.
Does burning change the price?
It lowers the total supply, which means each remaining token represents a larger share of the project. Whether the price moves depends on the market, but the supply change itself is immediate and public.
Where can I practise burning safely?
On Robinhood Testnet. Deploy a practice token, mint some extra supply, and burn it to watch totalSupply move before you do anything on mainnet.

- Multisender (Robinhood)Send ERC-20 tokens to up to 200 recipients on Robinhood Chain in one flow, with the fee shown up front in ETH.
- Create ERC-20 TokenDeploy a standard ERC-20 token on Robinhood Chain with cap, burn, pause, permit, transfer tax, deflation, reflection, anti-bot, anti-whale, and airdrop options. Non-custodial, one signature after a flat ETH fee.
